The Sierra Foothills Wine Show at the
Calaveras County Fair
About the Competition
The Sierra Foothills Wine Competition is open to Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, El Dorado, Mariposa, Nevada, Placer, Sierra or Tuolumne County. The grapes must be grown or winery located in one of the Counties listed above. Wines are judged by a panel of qualified judges. This competition is one of oldest in the State. It began more than 40 years ago when commercial vineyards were being developed in the rich Sierrra Foothills.
The winning wines will be on display at the
2022 Calaveras County Fair & Jumping Frog Jubilee, May 19-22.
